Attention foodies! During A Taste of Oakville – on now until March 4 – you can enjoy set lunch and dinner menus from some of Oakville’s finest restaurants for a fraction of the regular price. Rainbow Trout Filet from Paradiso
For a little taste of the Mediterranean, check out Paradiso’s Taste of Oakville menus. Pictured above is the rainbow trout from their dinner menu, served with a creamy lemon-dill risotto and wilted spinach, and topped with a stewed pepper relish to add some kick.
Crab Cake Benedict from Jonathans
If you’ve always wanted to try Jonathans – an upscale dining room that has consistently been named a top restaurant both locally and nationally – now is the perfect time. Pictured below is the Crab Cake Benedict from their lunch menu – a crispy crab cake topped with a poached egg and Creole Bearnaise.
Trota Salmonata from Borgo Antico
Borgo Antico is a family-owned restaurant known for its authentic Sicilian food. Pictured here is the trota salmonata – a generous portion of rainbow trout served with a creamy saffron potato mash, olives and fried leeks.
Pan-Seared Pistachio-Crusted Arctic Char from Seasons
Located inside Oakville’s historic Anderson House building, Seasons offers a romantic, intimate atmosphere to take in some of Oakville’s finest cuisine. Their pan-seared pistachio-crusted arctic char – served over pea puree, bok choy and winter glazed carrots – is available on both the lunch and dinner menus.
Muscovy Duck Breast from Noble Bistro
Noble Bistro specializes in chef-inspired farm to fork cuisine. All of their menu features, like the Muscovy duck breast served with sunchokes, broccoli and duck jus pictured below, are made with fresh, locally farmed ingredients.
