WHAT: A 45-minute combination of presentation and discussion of a book selected by an ACE member. The book must have an educational, business, or personal development theme. Format includes a 15-minute presentation of the book’s content, major themes and key takeaways followed by a 30-minute discussion. This event is free for members.
WHY: We all wish we had more time to read and build up our skills but struggle to find the time. Ideally all participants will read the book, but if you don’t have time to read it, please still join us – you’ll still learn the major takeaways from the book during the presentation and discussion. If you have read the book, discussing it will definitely solidify your learnings and give you a better chance of leveraging them in your life and business.
WHEN: WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, from 11:00 – 11:45 AM. We will start and end promptly so we can all get our day going.
WHO: May’s discussion will be led by Nancy Fornasiero
WHERE: Via Zoom. Visit instagram.com/acecowork for details.
May Book Selection
“The Surrender Experiment”, by Michael Singer
After building a cutting-edge software package that transformed the medical-practice management industry, a billion-dollar public company whose achievements are archived in the Smithsonian Institution, writing a book that became a New York Times best seller and an Oprah favorite, and surviving a massive raid by the FBI that would lead to unfounded accusations by the US government, Michael A. Singer decided to let go of his personal preferences and simply let life call the shots. This is the story of what happened next.
