There’s lots of activity happening in Downtown Oakville this fall. Construction along Lakeshore Road is progressing nicely, with a two-block pedestrian-only shopping area now open between Trafalgar and Allan Streets. As the new streetscape comes to life, we’re seeing lots of exciting new businesses open their doors. Orda Restaurant – 111 Trafalgar Road
This new restaurant specializes in Uyghur cuisine – a cooking style from the Xinjiang region of China. Visit their Instagram page for a mouthwatering look at their signature dishes, including kebabs, noodles and rice.

The Lovers Boutique – 300 Lakeshore Road East
This new specialty shop offers a wide range of adult toys and lingerie and they’re offering 20% off lingerie every Saturday this October. Click here to view their products online (adults only).
Fortelli Salon – 339 Lakeshore Road East
Originally located at Third Line and North Service Road, this family-owned salon recently moved to Downtown Oakville. In addition to cutting and colouring services, Fortelli offers spa treatments, hair removal, spray tanning and facials.
Noble Seafood – 218 Lakeshore Road East
While technically not a new business, Noble Bistro reopened in September after a six-month hiatus due to COVID-19. Now called Noble Bistro Seafood, they specialize in fish-based entrees and appetizers like seafood chowder, calamari, oysters, lobster linguine, and crab legs.
