How and why did you decide to pursue your business?
Once a grade 1 teacher for over 10 years, Amanda Hoblak took a leap of faith and left the teaching profession to pursue building Chiquel, one of the largest alternative hair companies in the world. As the “face” of Chiquel, Amanda now has a strong presence on social media where she leans on her authenticity to educate and inspire her followers to live with confidence.
What are you most passionate about in your business?
Amanda is passionate about empowering people to feel confident and beautiful, no matter what life throws their way. Amanda understands that sometimes there are things out of our control that knock us down unexpectedly, and she is dedicated to helping clients gain a new perspective through our products and services.
What do you LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
Downtown Oakville is a breath of fresh air, beautifully situated near the lake with a wonderful community surrounding it.
