About Maverick's Donut Company
Maverick’s Donut Company began operations in 2016 with one small location in the heart of central Ottawa. Spending the first four years perfecting its recipes, and building a name for itself in Ottawa, the company quickly became recognized for being the one true “Maverick” of the local donut world. All of our doughnuts and fritters are made fresh in-house and our menu includes a variety of doughnuts and seasonal flavours.
How and why did your decide to pursue your business?
My husband and I decided to pursue opening a donut shop that makes fresh doughnuts and baked goods everyday because we are passionate about quality food and dessert.
What are you most passionate about in your business?
We are passionate about our doughnuts and being part of this friendly and great community. Each donut crafted in our kitchen is a testament to our dedication to quality, creativity and the desire to reinvent traditional flavours.
What do you LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
We have set up shop in Downtown Oakville to become part of a community known for its diverse culinary scene and embrace its vibrant culture. We love that everyone here is very supportive, kind and welcoming. It is very beautiful and organized here in Downtown Oakville. The BIA has offered ongoing support during the process of opening our shop and onwards!
