Your go-to guide for showing your pride in #DTOakville.

Canada Day is around the corner and there are so many fun shops in #DTOakville to help you show your pride. While large celebrations this year may once again be limited, we can finally gather safely with those we love in a backyard gathering. Here is our list of local Canadian must-haves, just in time for July 1.

The Running Room

156 Lakeshore Rd E

From toques to tees, tanks, and running gear, The Running Room has a large selection of Canada apparel to take you from Canada Day through the Tokyo games. Our favourite, these maple leaf sunnies.

Boa Boutique

327 Lakeshore Rd. E

While together why not show your pride with red and white apparel. Boa Boutique has a selection of socks, tees, and sweaters to wear your patriot love.

Roots Canada

190 Lakeshore Rd E

Founded in Toronto, Canada in 1973, and inspired by the nearby wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park, it doesn't get more Canadian than ROOTS. In addition to their wide selection of Canada shirts and sweats, Roots has a selection of giftware and gear.

Designed and made in Canada, ROOTS leather is crafted by expert makers at their Toronto leather factory. When you select a leather bag, leather jacket, or leather accessories you are supporting Canada.

Black Forest Bakery

184 Lakeshore Rd E

Did you know Canada is the world's largest exporter of maple syrup, and that we produce 85% of the world's maple syrup? Why not pick up a can on your next stop by Black Forest Bakery. Nothing says Canada Day brunch like pancakes and pure maple syrup.

Another way to show your national pride is by choosing to purchase Canadian-made goods. Buying from home not only keeps our economy strong, but helps our local artists to thrive, and highlights the talent right here in our own backyard.

Homebody

176 Lakeshore Rd E

Homebody features many items made in Canada, from giftware and pottery to accessories, some even with hometown roots. Emma is a young maker, her brand Eteriese is available in-store, this street style jewelry line is designed and crafted locally, right here in Oakville.

Makers Mojo

331 Lakeshore Rd E

Maker's Mojo is your one-stop shop to support Canadian made, with products manufactured by hand makers locally and across the country.

Oakville Notebook

Hand-painted by Carolyn Gavin, this unique and vibrant journal is made from 100% recyclable material.
