What we call fresh traditional design is colourful, relaxed and thoughtfully mixes in contemporary pieces. As Kate Spade once said, "classic design is something that can be just as relavant today as 20 years ago, or 20 years from now." We designed our collection with this principle in mind.

At Rainsford, my passion is rooted in delivering an exceptional customer experience that seamlessly blends the in-store and online shopping journey. Whether a customer steps into our store or browses our collection from home, I want them to feel the same sense of warmth, inspiration, and ease.
Our physical store is designed to offer a personalized experience, where customers can engage with the textures, colours, and details of our curated pieces, and our team is always ready to assist with thoughtful guidance. At the same time, our online experience is crafted to mirror that level of service, with a user-friendly interface and rich product storytelling that makes shopping from a distance feel just as connected.
What excites me the most is that we can cater to our community in multiple ways, meeting customers wherever they are—whether it's in person for a hands-on look or digitally for convenience and speed. Our goal is always to make the experience as enjoyable and effortless as possible, regardless of how our customers choose to engage with us.

I love downtown Oakville because it has the perfect blend of small-town charm and vibrant community energy. The local businesses, are part of a close-knit network that creates a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home. There's a unique vibrancy here—whether it's the lively streets, the beautiful waterfront, or the friendly faces of neighbours and customers alike. We've received such a warm welcome from our neighbouring businesses. Being part of such a supportive community makes downtown Oakville the perfect place to create, connect, and offer something truly special.

Something that might surprise others is that along with running my furniture and home decor store, I’m also a mother to two small kids, Margot (5) and Jack (2).
